This beautiful photo is available in three different sizes. With 10 games left to play in the 1964 season, the Phillies appeared to have first place locked up. A trip to the World Series seemed so certain that the Phillies printed world series tickets and an 8 page world series program. (The details of the two teams were to be inserted into the program later.) This is an absolutely spectacular first generation, digitally restored, photo of the front cover of this program, produced from the original program.
