Alan Luber grew up in Philidelphia, PA and moved to Atlanta, GA in late 1985. For the next 19 years, he raised his family while working as a computer consultant for companies such as General Electric and IBM before establishing his own buisness, ADL Consulting Inc., in 1994. Alan released his first book, Solving Business Problems with MRP II, in 1991. A second edition was released in 1995. In October 2002, Alan released his second book - PC Fear Factor: The Ultimate PC Disaster Prevention Guide. In addition, Alan also wrote many articles for different computer magazines, including SmartComputing Magazine. He also tested different hardware and software products, such as Norton Antivirus, for buisnesses who were developing the products. Not only was Alan known as a wonderful author, journalist, and computer expert, but he was also a wonderful husband and father. During his spare time he liked to go to Atlanta Braves baseball games, play the piano, and watch his children roller speed skate throughout the years. He also spent his free time writing for fun, restoring photographs, and collecting and selling baseball memorabilia. Alan's favorite hobby was bird watching. He enjoyed spending time feeding and taking pictures of the birds in his back yard. After Alan was diagnosed with cancer, he started writing the Cancer Chronicles. These were special emails he wrote to family and friends during the last 18 months of his life. Writing the Cancer Chronicles helped him get through this challenging time; it was his way of coping. He would end most of his chronicles with his favorite closing “Enjoy Every Sandwich.” This was his way of saying enjoy life, and live it to the max. Mallory Luber Fannon (web site developer) is the youngest daughter of Alan Luber. Mallory grew up in Atlanta, GA and graduated from Georgia Southern University with a B.B.A in Information Systems. She currently works as a SQA Engineer for an EDI/Managed Services company.

Eleanor Luber (photographs) currently works for a financial firm. She is in charge of selling all the merchandise located on the merchandise section of the site.
